- ➤ La Nube, the children’s STEAM center in downtown El Paso, announced Sunday, Mar. 8 its new three-person chief executive team following CEO Gina Martinez’s departure last month. The team of Mick Martinez, Karla Salazar and Deana White will steer the center’s next phase of growth. El Paso Times
- ➤ Visitors exploring Crystal Gallery by Gem Center along Alameda Avenue can view crystals, geodes, minerals, and fossils — with interactive experiences such as geode cracking and gem panning. The family-owned shop doubles as a mini museum with engaging exhibits for all ages. KVIA

- ➤ Clayworks, a new pottery school in Central El Paso, opened Saturday, Mar. 7 at 2323-B Alameda to offer classes for beginners and experienced potters. It will run six-week courses in handbuilding, sculpture, and wheel throwing on Monday and Wednesday evenings. El Paso Times
- ➤ UTEP will transform an arroyo into a natural campus park as part of a plan to expand the blooming desert landscape on campus. The project will provide enhanced outdoor spaces for students and visitors over the next few years. El Paso Inc.

- ➤ ASESWAO held its 'Mother's Forest' tree planting at Paul Harvey Park Saturday morning with about 60+ volunteers joining 915 Tree Keepers to plant 25 trees as part of a global effort to reduce greenhouse gases, and local Rep.
