- ➤ On Tuesday, a family sought answers after 14-year-old Joseph Caraballo with autism went missing from Austin High School and was fatally struck by a vehicle on US54—his mother said a safety plan was in place while his sister questioned how he exited the school. KFOX14

- ➤ OpenAI and Oracle announced an unnamed data center in Doña Ana County is included in a $500 billion investment for the Stargate AI project and will be one of five new sites under development—BorderPlex Digital Assets and partners secured a $165 billion tax incentive deal approved last Friday. - ➤ OpenAI and Oracle are building a $165 billion data center campus called Project Jupiter in Santa Teresa near El Paso to train artificial intelligence and create jobs. Doña Ana County approved an incentive deal on Sept. 19 that will bring 2,500 construction jobs and require upgrades to local water and other services—steps meant to boost the regional economy. - ➤ Director Robert Chavez said 21-year-old model Mia Molina was shot dead in central El Paso on Wednesday—officials confirmed that another victim died while two men were taken to the hospital. KFOX14

- ➤ El Paso veteran Janace Griffin, a former train conductor and autism clinic manager, founded the Black Arts Association to support local African-American artists and promote diversity. - ➤ Paulo Cesar Gamez Lira, a local DACA recipient, was reunited with his family after a federal judge in New Mexico ordered his release from ICE custody—he was detained on Aug. 13 for a previous marijuana possession arrest that his attorney said was reduced to disorderly misconduct. KFOX14
