- ➤ Plant lovers gathered at UTEP on Saturday for Fall FloraFest, where visitors browsed native and desert-adapted plants and learned gardening tips from local experts—helping raise funds for the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens. The event also showed that native plants help conserve water — a key benefit for our desert climate. KVIA
- ➤ More than 600 people gathered at the Starlight Event Center for the Reimagine El Paso event—hosted by EPISO and Border Interfaith—to share stories and discuss local issues like immigration, mental health, education and climate change.
