The Sunland Park Chamber of Commerce hosted Harvest of Happiness Fall Family Festival at the Sunland Park Sports Complex, where families enjoyed a pumpkin decorating contest, community giveaways, and info on the free child care program (for working parents).

Volunteers built over 200 beds on Saturday at Lowe’s in El Paso and Las Cruces as part of the national Bunks Across America effort to help local children in need; they also accepted bedding donations to complete each bed.

The El Paso VA held its first motorcycle ride this September to boost veteran suicide prevention awareness in the local riding community.

The event aims to make getting help more accessible as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month continues.
