- ➤ El Paso Electric proposes a $473-million natural gas plant to power Meta’s new data center in Northeast El Paso if approved by state regulators; the 366-megawatt McCloud facility will serve Meta exclusively during a five-year bridge period and is expected to be operational by 2027.
