- ➤ El Paso Electric proposes a $473-million natural gas plant to power Meta’s new data center in Northeast El Paso if approved by state regulators; the 366-megawatt McCloud facility will serve Meta exclusively during a five-year bridge period and is expected to be operational by 2027. - ➤ El Paso teen Catalina Gutierrez was selected for the U.S. Senate Youth Program and will travel to Washington, D.C. next week to join 103 students, meet federal leaders, and receive a $10,000 college scholarship from the Hearst Foundations. KVIA
