- ➤ Rebecca Guerrero, an English teacher at Young Women's STEAM Research and Preparatory Academy, received the state humanities award Jan. 27 that gave her $5,000 and provided the school $1,000 for teaching materials. Congresswoman Veronica Escobar presented the award. KFOX14

- ➤ A nearly $300 million Meta headquarters development is under construction at 6901 Stan Roberts Ave. in Northeast El Paso. The project will build an administration building, network building, fire pump house & IBOS building on empty land near Chaparral, New Mexico. El Paso Times
