- ➤ Burlington Stores announced a new location in El Paso at Yarbrough Plaza (10501 Gateway Blvd. West Bld 9), replacing the former Joann's site. The store will open spring with a refreshed design featuring wider aisles and clear signage for easier shopping. KVIA

- ➤ Julian Kalel, an El Paso native, advanced to the American Idol top 30 after returning to the competition to focus on his mental health. He shares his message about anxiety and resilience (encouraging young men to seek help) as he performs on Monday nights. KFOX14
- ➤ El Paso’s downtown arts district finished fourth in USA Today’s Best Art District awards on Feb. 25, celebrated for its Spanish colonial revival architecture and murals that tell a rich cultural story. - ➤ El Paso residents faced much higher Texas Gas Service bills, with some more than tripling after a rate increase approved by the Texas Railroad Commission (10%-19% expected) met higher winter usage and a steep delivery charge. City officials opposed the hike and have filed an appeal in court. El Paso Times
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Camp East Montana detention center is under quarantine today after 14 measles cases were confirmed, and it is closed to visitors and attorneys until March 19-20. City officials and immigration rights advocates say the steps call for better medical access at the facility. KFOX14
