- ➤ El Paso Public Libraries held a birthday party for mascot Lea at the Clardy Fox Branch Library on Saturday afternoon. Families from across the borderland enjoyed games, prizes and photos with Lea and other mascots as public libraries director Norma Martinez said the event celebrated learning and community. KVIA
- ➤ Local resident Marie Claire Seoane, who battles achalasia (a rare esophageal disorder), discovered her biological family through a DNA test after weeks in the hospital. Her reunion with a relative from Canada has brought her peace and strength during her treatment. KVIA
