- ➤ The City is hosting a community tree planting event as part of the 915 Tree Keepers Program this Saturday at Tierra Vista Park, Spanish Castle Park, and E.L. Williams Park. - ➤ The El Paso City Council adopted the Chihuahuan Desert Climate Action Plan Tuesday — a community-informed roadmap that outlines a Cool Roof Program, energy management initiatives, and a new policy framework guiding data center growth. KVIA
- ➤ IQAir’s report showed that El Paso ranked among the top 10 most polluted U.S. major cities in 2024, with an average PM2.5 of 7.8 micrograms per cubic meter. The National Weather Service cautioned that windy, dusty conditions may worsen symptoms for infants, the elderly and those with respiratory issues. KVIA
