- ➤ El Paso Electric calculated a rate increase that will raise residential bills by 13.5% (or $13.23 per month) with new rates taking effect May 1 and including a retroactive charge from July 1, 2025. City officials had estimated a slightly higher increase before regulators finalized the decision. El Paso Times
