- ➤ A 21-year-old man — Hekter Enrique Carreto — was arrested on March 30 after he reportedly beat, raped, and robbed a woman at a smoke shop on Dyer Dr. in Northeast El Paso on March 28; police said the victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and he now faces multiple charges with a $5,000,000 bond. - ➤ The Texas DPS is searching for Esteban Acosta (35), a suspected member of the Crucés Boyz gang, after troopers lost sight of his white Ford Equinox on Interstate 10 near Mile Marker 3 on April 10, which led to lockdowns at Lone Star, Canutillo and Alderete schools that ended before 3 p.m. KTSM
