- ➤ Amigos Farm held its Spring Open House Saturday to show local residents organic produce, microgreens, beehives & an aquaponic system while hosting a chicken naming ceremony. The farm partnered with Mustard Seed Cafe to highlight its farm-to-table process and free lunch program. KVIA
- ➤ On Friday, the El Paso Fire Department responded to three calls in Sun City, East El Paso & Northeast El Paso to rescue seven kittens stuck in a wall and storm drains. The rescued kittens are now available for adoption at El Paso Animal Services. KVIA

- ➤ The Horizon Wine Festival will return on April 18 from 1 to 6 p.m. at Three Missions Brewery—its new venue offering exclusive tastings, live music, and local food vendors for wine lovers and community members. KFOX14
- ➤ Gabriel Esparza from El Paso won his first Latin Grammy for engineering Marcos Witt’s Legado album, which earned Best Christian Album in Spanish at the 26th Latin GRAMMY Awards. He said the win motivates him to keep working hard in music & honor his personal legacy. KFOX14
- ➤ Budweiser Clydesdales will return to El Paso from April 23–25, with stops including the Downtown Trot, the Tap’s 70th Anniversary Celebration, an El Paso Chihuahuas game, and a Fort Bliss showcase. Organized by L&F Distributors, residents will have a chance to see the iconic horses up close. KFOX14

- ➤ Fort Bliss launched the new Iron Zero program to help soldiers avoid drunk driving by offering free, confidential rides on weekends. Volunteers developed the initiative (part of the BOSS program) over nearly a year to keep service members safe. KVIA

- ➤ The NMSU Aggies won a 3-0 game over UTEP in game 2 of the Battle of I-10, with Faith Aragorn pitching a complete shutout and homers by Destan Burks and Kendal Lunar sealing the win; UTEP, now 11-26, will try to avoid a sweep later today. KVIA
- ➤ The UTEP Dance Team won first place at the National Dance Alliance College Nationals Saturday in Daytona Beach, Florida. This win marks their second national title in four years and the first under Head Dance Coach Crystal Ortiz. KVIA
