  • NASA astronaut José Hernández visited the El Paso Science Festival at the Convention Center on Saturday, April 19. He spoke to students at El Paso Community College and highlighted interactive exhibits and live science shows.  KFOX14

  • El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens will host an Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can explore animal exhibits and interactive booths hosted by community partners + learn how everyday actions help save wildlife.  KVIA

  • UTEP held its Spring Game on Saturday, April 18 at the Sun Bowl where coaches + players showcased skills and gave fans a look ahead to the upcoming season.  El Paso Times
  • El Paso high school track & field athletes competed in the Class 6A UIL area meet on Fri, Apr. 17 at SISD’s Student Activities Center against teams from Odessa, Midland, San Angelo & Frenship. Standouts included Eastwood’s Kylie Vega in the 3,200-meter run and Franklin’s Emily Orr winning her event.  El Paso Times
