ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday night, El Paso Fire crews answered a call for a brush fire off Trawood Drive and Lee Trevino Drive near the closed Vista Hill golf course and knocked it down by 9:27 p.m. (no injuries were reported) while police diverted southbound traffic on Lee Trevino. KFOX14
- ➤ Arturo Urquidi Astorga, 64, Juárez’s Director of Commercial Regulation and former director of social development and mayor of Ojinaga (who also led District V in the early 2000s), died Saturday night in a motorcycle crash in El Paso. KVIA
- ➤ Early Sunday morning, a crash on I-10 eastbound near Loop 375 left one person severely injured and taken to the hospital—fire and police units arrived at the scene at 1:38 a.m.—as emergency teams responded promptly. KFOX14
