On Sunday night, El Paso Fire crews answered a call for a brush fire off Trawood Drive and Lee Trevino Drive near the closed Vista Hill golf course and knocked it down by 9:27 p.m. (no injuries were reported) while police diverted southbound traffic on Lee Trevino.

Arturo Urquidi Astorga, 64, Juárez’s Director of Commercial Regulation and former director of social development and mayor of Ojinaga (who also led District V in the early 2000s), died Saturday night in a motorcycle crash in El Paso.
