- ➤ Diana Sayavedra resigned as El Paso Independent School District Superintendent after entering a voluntary retirement agreement — Chief Financial Officer Martha Aguirre will serve as interim superintendent starting June 15. - ➤ UTEP engineering students on the Sun City Summit Rocket Team showed their lab and rocket Sandstorm to ABC-7 during a behind-the-scenes tour today. The team will compete in the International Rocket Engineering Competition in Midland from June 9 to 14 + they hope their tests match their simulation to prove a year of hard work. KVIA

- ➤ The El Paso Zoo announced spring births of several animal babies including an Inca Tern chick, a Magellanic Penguin chick, two pronghorn fawns, two Marbled Teal ducklings, and three White-Nosed Coati kits.
