- ➤ Business owners along Montana Avenue and near Loop 375 say the ongoing Montana expansion project has hurt sales, with one shop reporting a drop from $3,000 to $300 a day after the access road was narrowed to one lane. TxDOT said the project, which began in April 2019 and will be completed by March or April 2027, is being coordinated with local businesses through meetings and flyer distribution — ensuring continued access during road work.
