- ➤ Socorro ISD released its academic calendar for the 2025 to 2026 school year with the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 4. The calendar outlines key breaks including Labor Day on Sept. 1, fall break from Sept. 29 to Oct. 10, Thanksgiving break from Nov. 24 to Nov. 28, winter break from Dec. 22 to Jan. 2, and spring break from March 16 to March 20 while scheduling parent teacher conferences on Oct. 20 to Oct. 22 and on March 3 and April 1 with an early release on Dec. 19.
