- ➤ An active-duty Army soldier from El Paso was arrested on Aug. 6 and is accused of trying to send sensitive details about an M1A2 Abrams — the Army’s main battle tank — to someone he believed was a Russian intelligence officer in exchange for citizenship. El Paso Times
- ➤ An 18-year-old suspect, Ximena Garcia-Baca, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she used her car to hit a man's vehicle several times on March 14 near the 13000 block of Horizon Blvd+ she fled the scene before surrendering on August 1 when the bond was set at $75,000.
