- ➤ A Sun Metro bus fell off a hydraulic lift on Feb. 11 at 1 p.m., puncturing a gas cylinder that caused multiple explosions and a deadly fire at the operations center (10151 Montana Ave near Wedgewood Drive) that injured six employees and killed two (Ruben Ibarra and German Garcia) while firefighters worked for hours to put out the blaze.
