- ➤ Estine Davis, a pioneering businesswoman who ran Estine’s Eastside Barbershop for over 70 years and led community events, died on Monday at 92 — her legacy lives on in the many local programs she helped start. KFOX14
- ➤ Recker's Outreach, a transitional home for unhoused veterans in El Paso, celebrated its two-year anniversary on November 11 with an event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring donation tables for essential items—so far the program has helped 30 veterans re-enter civilian life. KFOX14
- ➤ Soldier Art Workshops — a nonprofit founded to support military personnel and their families at Fort Bliss — offers art workshops that allow active-duty soldiers, veterans, and relatives to express themselves and cope with military life.
