- ➤ Native El Pasoan Lisa Caprelli has published her 23rd children’s book, The Flying Taco?—a story that sends readers on a global taste tour ending with a stop at Desert Oak Barbecue on the east side. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The El Paso VA Health Care System held a topping-off ceremony on November 13 that marked the placement of the final beam for its new facility at Fort Bliss—partnering with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Clark Construction Group, and SmithGroup+HKS, the center will offer outpatient services to over 54,000 veterans and is scheduled for completion in August 2029.
