- ➤ The YMCA of El Paso in partnership with CareFree Homes is preparing for the 49th Annual Turkey Trot scheduled for November 27, the largest Thanksgiving Day run in the region that features a 5K race and a one-mile fun run for runners of all ages (4 to 80). - ➤ El Paso is kicking off its holiday season with many family events, including the Sun Bowl Thanksgiving Parade at 10 a.m. on Nov. 27 (led by chef Aarón Sánchez) and the WinterFest lights parade on Nov. 22 in Downtown.
