- ➤ El Paso County Parks & Recreation launched Dog Swim Season at Ascarate Pool with a Canine Fiesta held last Saturday. Pup Swim days will run on Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. through September 27, charging $2 per dog while owners swim free — participants must show proof of current vaccinations and remain with their pets at all times.
